    The Consequence of Convenience

    As spring arrives, so does the delicious spring time crops such as the crunchy asparagus, spinach, parsnips, with summer bringing much more in savory Wisconsin fare like the delicious Door County cherries….We certainly know we “should” eat in-season, organic, veggies but let’s face it, many of us do not. What we also do not do, is think of what the consequences our food choices have and what price we will eventually pay for the convenience of processed foods. Sure, they are cheaper, much quicker to prepare, require little to no thought… but the short term convenience and cost savings could very well cost you your life…
